Always on Father’s Day, this Car Show is in a Park, looking out over the Fraser River. More than 1200 vehicles of all sorts, come and stay most of the day. A $5.00 entrance fee is required that goes to several charities. Nice goodie bags, dash plaques, and several trophies.
Some of us take our custom cars and trailers there and spend the night before, helping get ready for the next day’s event. We all bring food and have a pot luck dinner, This year there was approximately 10 vehicles & trailers. Most of us have Boler’s, shaped like a 13ft egg, and a few like ours are 17ft self contained.
The Boler trailer was built in Alberta between 1970 and 1985, and have become one of the most shought after by Canadian Streetrodders. They are very light and can be easily towed. This was our first year to bring the completed 1939 Ford Convertible & Boler. We also bring our motor home, that we use to sell T-shirts for the event. There are vendors, games for the kids, and normally nice weather, with a beautiful panoramic view, looking south toward the states, over the river and snow covered Mt Baker in Washington.
