Rogue Valley Street Rods

Welcome to the web page for the Rogue Valley Street Rods club.  Formed in 1973, RVSR is the oldest organized street rod club in southern Oregon.

We are a group that loves the car hobby and the friendships and camaraderie shared by our members.  Getting in our rods and going on group day runs, trips to local and distant car events, pot lucks and helping on members’ car projects are only some of the things we enjoy.

We have a proud history of promoting the car hobby in our region and  our record of charity fund raising accomplishments in support of local special needs kids is outstanding.  Over the years the Rogue Valley Street Rods club has donated over $600,000 to charities, primarily the Oregon Health Science University-Child Development and Rehabilitation Center  for their incredible work with special needs kids in our region.  Another of our local charity projects is the annual “Coats for Kids” drive.  Typically the club donates over 250 coats each year for the kids.

For our efforts in supporting our community, and the car hobby, the club has received many accolades, including twice being awarded the Eagle One Industries (a national car care products company) “Golden Rule Award” for “The most outstanding Community Service Program in the Western Region” of the United States.

A meeting of the club’s members is held each month to conduct club business and to socialize.  Friends and prospective members are always most welcome to any of the club’s meetings or activities.

Prospective members must have a pre-1973 street rod/hot rod – drivable or under construction.  We also ask that a prospective member attend at least two club monthly meetings within a 12 month period so that they can get acquainted.

Our club offers, and welcomes, both individual and family memberships and the annual dues are $15 for individuals and $30 for families.

If you would like more information about the history of the Rogue Valley Street Rods or if you might wish to come to one of our upcoming meetings or events please feel free to call or text one of the officers shown on the Home Page.
