The members of the Rogue Valley Street Rods club will present the 36th Annual Southern Oregon Rod & Custom Show on the weekend of February 9th and 10th, 2013. This terrific show is held indoors a the Jackson County Fairground and Exposition Center buildings in Central Point, Oregon.
We’re anticipating 8,000 people will come to the show to see the vehicles, commercial displays, raffles, trophies and other activities. The RVSR members work all year to make this a special event for participants and our community. Whether as an entrant or a spectator we know you will enjoy the show.
In addition to being a fun and entertaining event, a primary purpose for the presentation of the show is to generate a substantial donation to the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center (CDRC) of the Oregon Health & Science University. This fine organization has been helping deserving kids and their families for over 37 years.
The CDRC primarily treats kids who have diagnoses of either cerebral palsy or developmental delay. Many children with spinal bifida, behavioral problems craniofacial disorders or genetic syndrome also receive treatment from CDRC. We are very proud to have been able to cumulatively donated over $500,000.00.
So, if you’d like to join the fun and participate in our show, send us your application. There’s no entry fee if you are selected. The show committee of the Rogue Valley Street Rods selects the final entrants and places them in the venue. Their decisions are final.
We’ll look forward to hearing from you!
