MARVIN G DONNEAUD
JANUARY 16, 1939 – FEBRUARY 7, 2012
He could fix anything, make anything better. He did this without much formal education. He was very talented. He continued to thrive for over 6 years after being diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2005. Then it took his life and his boundless gifts.
He was born in Rockford, Illinois and moved to California at 20 years old with his first wife Penny. They raised 2 daughters together and later divorced. He married Barbara in 1978. Together they saw a big chunk of the world, every continent except Antarctica. Travel was a real joy in their life. They chose to move to the Rogue Valley in 1991. He loved this place, especially their home on Old Military Road.
He was always employed in the automobile business, service department, body shop manager, sales. He also worked in material damage appraisal for an insurance company. He usually had 2 jobs since one of them was always working on his own home. He loved tools and having a big shop where everything had it’s own place. He would do projects for friends but not for money, just because he cared for them and wanted to do it right.
He was preceded in death by his parents Irma and Bernerd, his brother Leon, his daughter Michele, and his first wife Penny.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, his daughter Cheri, his brother Ken, and his 2 cats Tucker and Sydney. His passing leaves a huge hole in the lives of so many. Before he died many of his friends stopped by for one last visit. Thank you. He will be cremated.

George E. Bailey, 65, of Medford, Ore., beloved husband, brother, father and friend, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at home. He was born March 23, 1945, in Whittier, Calif., the son of the late Virginia and Kenneth Bailey and is preceded in death by his son, Robert Kenneth Bailey.

He was passionate about helping others and worked to acquire jackets for the Coats for Kids program each holiday season as well as canvassing local businesses for contributions to the Child Development and Rehabilitation Clinic. He and his wife were in the process of building their dream street rod, a 1934 Plymouth, there’s a 1955 Study pick-up in the works and the daily driver is a 1929 Nash. Above all George was a man of integrity, a true and cherished friend and a man of his word. He was best known for his sharp wit and ever present sense of humor. All those who love George wish they’d had more time to share another story, laugh at another joke and tell him once again how much they love him.
A memorial service will be held June 20, 2010, at the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Medford at 4:00 p.m. followed by a fellowship. The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Coats for Kids program through RVSR.
